The first page for the 500 servicing schedule is 18,000mile Service Intervals labeled "500 and 500C Maintenance Programme." Every 18,000miles the charts says, "Replace spark plugs. (Petrol versions only)" In the chart, there are references to TA versions, Diesel versions and Dualogic versions, so it covers all the 500 models.

There is a 10mm nut to remove that holds an earth cable & a 13mm nut which holds down the coil rail remove both & then just gentley remove all 10mm bolts which hold each coil pack down. The plug leads complete with coil pack will now all pull out together. You can now access all the plugs with your extended ratchet & plug socket.

My 2017 hit 30,000 miles just after the 4 year warranty expired. When I pulled the coils to change plugs I found oil in the spark plug tubes of cylinders 1 & 3. Interestingly I first noticed a slight amount of oil on the end of the 6mm bolt holding those two coils first. # 1 coil did have oil on the end of the rubber insulation but # 3 did not.
