Sometimes games hold up, and this is one of them. Though I absolutely loved the original, Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes ā€“ Definitive Edition brings a classic game to exhilarating modern life. Not only does it feature complex and nuanced strategic gameplay, but has an engaging story and tons of replay value.

Heroes 7 has taken core aspects of heroes 3 and even improved on some of them using the best functions that we loyal (and disappointed) fans have seen in the flops that were 4,5 and 6. In constrast to the average review out there, my opinion is they succeeded fairly well at bringing back the old h3 spirit and the game definitely beats 4,5 and 6

That's easy to answer :-(. Nubisoft doesn't value Heroes of Might and Magic 4. They want to create simple games. It takes an analytical mind to appreciate the strategic depth of Heroes IV. If you really like Heroes of Might and Magic gameplay, and are prepared to play some less than stellar games in the series, Iā€™m sure the games are well worth the money they cost. Iā€™d rather recommend HoMM1, HoMM2 and HoMM4 over any of those though, both because of better game design, mechanics, graphics and music.
