Audimay indeed recommend having the belt changed every five years, at over £600 for that pleasure, their bound to say it, to encourage those of us who do a higher mileage, to change the belt. Your average driver will have covered 50=60,ooo+ miles in around five years, and yes the timing belt may need seeing to.
