The car was unlocked. So I tried locking it again. The car would lock and unlock within seconds. I tried inserting the key, it would not lock no matter what. I have also noticed the door warning light on the dash however all doors are closed. Im guessing a sensor is not working properly so the car thinks a door is open so it doesn’t lock the car.
1. Loose Battery Terminal (Likely) A loose battery terminal can cause your Ford Fiesta to have flickering dash lights and a no start condition. If a terminal is loose, the electrical connection to the car is bad, and the dash lights can flicker without it starting. It’s easy to tell if the battery terminals aren’t tight.
HELP! 2011 Fiesta taillights and lower dash lights out! Very perplexing problem here. I noticed the ambient lighting on my 2011 Fiesta started flashing and then went off all together. At the same time I noticed the lower IP lights (HVAC & shift bezel) were also out. Furthermore, the rear tailights are also not working!

I own a 2008 Ford Fiesta MK6 1.4 TDCI and I am having a little trouble with the door open warning light on the dash staying on. Also, the doors won't lock using the key remote control. If I shut the O/S front door hard then all is well so can only assume the problem could be the micro switch?
Wanted to reiterate what others have said here based on my experience with my 2017 Fiesta. Battery died, jumped it off to get to work, had Check Engine light on and transmission service message on head unit display. Driving to work the transmission’s failure to upshift was immediately notable, but revs were extremely excessive after 2nd gear.

The only thing that made it work reliably for me was not only to format as FAT32 but also to set the allocation unit size for the format to 4096 bytes. Before doing this, the drive had come pre-formatted as FAT32 but Sync would intermittently either completely not recognize the drive, or recognize it but then randomly freeze up/fail/disconnect
